"Children are not lumps of clay that a mother can mold and shape into whatever she thinks would be best. They are seedlings...already pears, pines or petunias. As gardeners, we can add only sunshine, water, fertilizer, time and love in order to make that growing plant the most beautiful specimen of what it was intended to be." -Linda J. Eyre

Ross Lake Canoe Trip
Aaron took the priests from his quorum on their Scouting high adventure up to Ross Lake for a week long canoe trip. He left on Monday and came back on Saturday. While he was gone I spent my time canning peaches, making jam and cleaning out the basement, (which hadn't been done since we moved here almost a year ago) . When he came back that Saturday he was super tan, happy to be home, and raving about how beautiful this place was. We're thinking of going back up there next summer with just the two of us. He kept going on and on about how beautiful and peaceful it was. I can't wait after seeing the pictures, they were incredible.
